Leland Gersbach, a 1974 graduate of Southwest Texas State University, began his professional career in the audit department of a local Temple accounting firm. Leland joined with Mike Brockway in 1977 to establish the foundation of the local practice, which is now Brockway, Gersbach, McKinnon & Niemeier, P.C.

As a tax partner since 1984, Leland devotes his professional time consulting with individuals and businesses as to their income and estate planning. Given Leland’s personal experience as a part-time rancher and farmer, he is committed to serving the special tax and consulting needs of the agricultural industry.

Leland’s civic involvement currently includes President of the Senior Citizens Activities Trust, Treasurer of the Holland Youth Sports Association, membership in the Temple Rotary Club, committee involvement for the Temple Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours and Small Business Committee, Holland Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Temple Alumni Association, the Temple Elks Lodge, and the Budget and Auditing Committee of the St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett, Texas. Leland is the past president and treasurer of numerous civic organizations.
